...my skin became all red and blotchy! Apparently it's called urticaria and it's an immune response to a virus. Thanks, immune system! Have I ever told you how much I don't admire your work?
Apparently it isn't serious though. Just itchy. So, yay for that.

Also I saw a doctor today and had more frustration, in that he didn't want to do anything about the problem I went in with. Woo.

And finally, I upgraded firefox! Mostly, it has to be said, because gmail kept complaining to me about how it was an old version. So I upgraded to the newest version! Woohoo.
... and now gmail doesn't work at all.
When it comes to computers, I love them, but they will never love me.

I had an attack of urticaria recently - hadn't realised an immune response to a virus could cause it. Hydrocortisone cream helped me but it took a couple of days to notice the difference. Sadly the anithistmine horse pills I was already on didn't stop it even though, as a histamine reaction, they should have knocked it dead. Hey, ho.


Have more of a neccesity/hate relationship with computers. Got fed up with old computer taking 2-8 attempts to boot and am hoping new shiny computer will behave better. :) Am not friends with G-mail though as people auto-forwarding mail from Arafel means that arafel is now regarded as a spam-bot and blocked from sending to g-mail (and others). Is v anoying...

The anti-histamines haven't done anything yet. But individual blobs of it vanish after a day or two, so I suppose it will get better sooner or later.
