weird links

Random words seem to be turned into links to a site that claims to give away ipads.  Is this some kind of malware?

ETA:  Fixed.  Seems it's a firefox add-on that adds itself without asking.  But you can remove it in the add-ons menu, so it's not so bad.

sexism in science

So, it turns out that people recruiting for Science! jobs are just going with their feelings and assuming that people with male names are more competent:
