it's a bit of a jumble...
May. 28th, 2004 07:49 pmover the last few days a few things have occured to me:
I have none. Duh. However, I felt that I had, and reality was only brought home when a) I missed tuesday (was asleep until the afternoon), and b) Our team leader started talking about taking extra work on, and being overstaffed.
I am two, maybe three weeks away from positive money. Three more weeks, and that overdraft is gone. Then everything will be... slightly easier.
*crosses fingers*
I also managed to cook the other day. As I expected, if you mash up about five pieces of garlic in a pan, with a big blob of marg, half a cup of white wine and a teaspoon or so of lemon juice, then you simmer for a bit to get rid of the alcohol, the resulting liquid can be applied to bread to make garlic bread, or poured all over chicken in a foil covered dish to make nice tasting chicken. Okay, not original, but tasty.
