Aw boo - something slightly bad has just happened / an expression of sympathy

Reet used to mean good or surprising or both eg. "Thats a reet catch" "reet film"

I always though that 'reet' was from further north, could just be that I've made extreme efforts to avoid learning/developing a yorkshire accent and haven't noticed.
