aumentouNo, I have not read your livejournal. This is because a) I was busy and then b) our network was taken apart for moving and now c) we have no internet access at home.
Everyone owes me £51, except petesteelesdoll who paid and Sycorax who mostly paid.
We spent last week packing. Then we had a frantic and overlong move. Then I had a whole weekend of frantic reorganisation and internal moving. Then I wasted three days. Now I have to put up net curtains and sort out the new cellar... joy.
Terrorists are stupid. Todays bombs reinforce Blairs position on ID cards, and cover up any failings at the G8. Either the terrorists are thick, or they are quite happy to do that, suggesting that ID cards don't scare them. Sometimes I worry that both 'Christian' and 'Muslim' fundamentalists are quite happy to start armageddon, secure in the knowledge that they will either win or ascend to paradise on death. This leaves all us agnostic pacifists running for cover... we don't have a side, we don't have anything to rally behind, and we don't have any way of fighting for the things we want, because asking nicely for all the nutters to seclude themselves in one small area of the world and just kill each other doesn't seem to work.
