I woke up this morning feeling fine...

aumentouexcept for the relatively mild hangover. Today so far I have got out of bed,winced at the sunlight, boiled some spuds, and then made a fried egg bacon and spud sandwich. Mmmm, lard in a bun.
And in a minute, I'm going to go and hit people with sticks, and no, it's not the annoying teenage girls from the bus last night.
I've felt really good today. I think this is because it was a sunday, before twelve, and I wasn't feeling sick. Actually, based on the last couple of weeks, scratch that before twelve part.
I think I've remembered an important lesson: The drink is not an end in itself, it is merely a means of expanding your courage and making the dancing more interesting.
Corp was of course a little bit wank. *shrug* What can you do? Still, Zodiac Mindwarp are now headlining the TigerTailz gig (has anyone told tigertailz yet? better take those posters down) and have simultaneously become twice a night guys - The DJ in the goth room has taken Jozafeens example and played glamish before the res rocks room opens* (fire woman, prime mover, and white wedding)... meanwhile at about 2 in the morning the other DJ, perhaps in response to years of ignored requests, has also started paying prime mover. On the whole, I feel this is a positive development.
*Funnily enough, this seems to be the most popular part of his set.
Bad news of course... next week it's batfink. I've just worked out that iven there are 65 ish songs a night, and 130 ish people there, then I should get my own personal song played once every two batfinks. I ddn't get a request in last time, so THIS time I'm taking a CD, and a large stick. Goth DJ's you are warned. Be nice or I'll take over the DJ booth and play Brian Setzer - and it wont stop until you ALL dance Muahahahhahahahahahahahahahahaha!
