In case anyone had forgotten, or somehow not been told, we're having a party on saturday night. The house is the usual one opposite the dram shop, and the time will be the usual time of lets say 8 and you can all show up fashionably late.

There is also supposed to be a last of the smmer wine/ old fart theme, but given the late notice if you haven't heard about it before now you don't have to bother. Before anyone starts asking about me in flat caps, my plan is to be Marina. I think. I'm not being helped in this by blue_jez's promise to show me what that looks like.

There will be punch, unless bint hides the big bowl again, but probably not pie.

We are having problems booking a hotel due to the meatloaf concert, but he's in hospital so with any luck he'll cancel. Whatever happens, we will make it at some point.
