So, as you probably already know, having read the better parts journal, the do is 27th feb, at the University Arms.

The theme is 'Come As The Year Of Your Birth'.

There will be some sort of food.

Also, it has been brought to my attention that some people actually want to buy me presents. This is not necessary. I am already old(ish) and grumpy (definitely) and presents will not fix this, even if they are twinkly. Still, you could get me this:

Hmmm, it being somewhat of a landmark birthday I would really like to get you something long lasting and memorable. And yet I am empty of ideas! is there anything that fits that remit that you actually want, rather than going "oooh what a lovely vase" and then binning it?!
